For those who have a very dangerous work, or those who are afraid of going out for a walk, Bladerunner launched this sweater with “Bullet Proof” qualities for sale.

The garment is covered with a removable thin film made of bullet-proof material (type IIA). It is strong enough to stop a 9mm bullet moving at 332 meters/second. The hood is just a complement of the invention and it is totally useless against the bullets, leaving the head completely unprotected.

The protection level of this garment is certified to NIJ Std. 0101.04 (according to National Institute of Justice in United States of America). Besides protecting against bullets, the creators say it also protects against smaller threats, although they do not specify what sort of threat they mean.

Since last month, the Defender Hoodie is available for about $600. Although it is quite expensive, the sweater could be quite useful for policemen or for those who work in the security sector.

* Never use socks with sandals

* The colors of your socks

Combine the socks with patterns in black, navy blue, gray and camel. If your clothes have patterns already, then you should wear thin socks. The sport socks are only for physical training.

Always combine the socks with your pants, not with your shoes. For formal events (in the office or something similar), you can wear wool socks or socks made of wool and lycra; make sure they hide your calves.

The Italian designers Dolce & Gabbana opened up on Saturday the men’s Fashion Week in Milan with a relaxed style inspired by oriental kimonos to dress men at night with silk nightwear on next summer.

Asian prints with dragons and butterflies decorated the Dolce & Gabbana robes and short pants in black, white, grey, sepia and ivory. Naomi Campbell modeled one of their designs as part of Spring/Summer 2009 men’s collection.

At night, oriental prints were also seen on jackets and short pants in black. According to the designers, this collection represents “the relaxed lifestyle of the modern man”.

Also, the collection includes striped formal suits and casual wear, with variety of light and dark blues and natural hues from beige to brown, which were combined with dark sunglasses on the catwalk.

Last year, Adidas expanded its leadership position in Football (soccer) clothing market, Herbert Hainer said yesterday in Vienna. He is the CEO and chairman of Adidas.

Adidas has a share of 40% in the football merchandise market, two points more than last year (38%) and higher than its closest competitors (Puma and Nike) together, according to Hainer.

In UEFA EURO 2008, Adidas hopes to sell merchandise related to soccer, which is valued at 1.8 billion dollars. This would be a sales increase of more than 50% since UEFA EURO 2004, the last European Championship year.

Also, Adidas predicts a good growth rate and a profit growth of around 15 per cent this year.
