Since the end of last year, apparently Zara is applying a new strategy: The launch of new looks every month. Well, let’s see some novelties in the Spring-Summer 2010 collection.
Pull and Bear is still opting for a young and modern style in its new collections for men.
The clothing store chain Blanco is receiving the Spring season by launching a new advertising campaign where the models Garrett Neff and Anna Maria Jagodzinska have had an important participation. The dark and cold colors of the Winter have been left behind, as well as the current rock style. Instead, the new style includes a wardrobe full of lively colors and joyful items.
The store chain Opening Ceremony continues expanding its horizons and also its collaborations. After its collaboration with the American film actress Chloe Sevigny, which produced the launch of an unisex collection, now it is the turn of a new collaboration with a widely famous and well-known American clothing company: Levi Strauss & Co.
The Spring has not arrived yet, but in a few weeks, the most beautiful season of the year will be here. And we all should be ready in order to wear trendy and comfortable clothes… We all, including children.
The first Adidas collection in collaboration with Stella McCartney was launched to the market in 2007. It was the Stella McCartney Gym Yoga for Adidas, which was soon complemented by new collections for other sports like tennis, athletics, and swimming.
The French apparel company Lacoste has participated in the New York Fashion Week since many years; for that reason, it is not a big surprise that the Fall-Winter 2010-2011 collection, which was introduced in the Big Apple yesterday, has been called “Time Square”. That is a homage to the city and its fashion runways where the crocodile logo is one of the most well-known symbols due to the modern and urban style of the company.
Jean Paul Gaultier, who is known as the French fashion’s “enfant terrible”, introduced a spectacular collection of looks for the Spring Summer 2010 season that includes looks with a pirate style (or buccaneer style), huge hats, and overlapped sections made of braided fabrics.
For a strange unexplainable reason, the brand Lacoste has always been associated to a public stereotype with a classic way of dressing (and thinking) that includes very widespread and stereotyped trends, traditional stylish looks, and especially clothing collections very focused on a target group that is composed of adults older than 30.
