Apple patents winter gloves for using the iPhone

Apple patents winter gloves for using the iPhoneAlthough Apple is a technological company, apparently it is entering to the fashion accessories market. Of course, technology is still the main focus but the company has surprised us with its new patent that was introduced recently.

If you live in some regions of Europe, Canada and United States, then you well know how difficult can be to take your hands out of your pockets or gloves in order to be able to use your iPhone. So, the idea of Apple is not bad at all.

The patent includes gloves that would simulate the electrical feedback of your fingertips. The gloves have some openings to facilitate the operation of the device, but anyway, our fingers would be protected by a second layer, which is what really touches the iPhone.

Anyway, a similar idea exists now and it is called “Dots“, which includes gloves with lentil shape metal dots in the external side, just over the fingertips. Of course, in this case, maybe the “quality” of the touch is not the better one. For this reason,  the idea of Apple is interesting because it seeks to emulate the human fingertip and, in this way, it will help you enormously, especially when your nose is frozen in winter and you don’t want to expose your hands to the cold. :-)
