At number 1 of most extravagant shoes: the prize goes to “Where is the heel of my shoe?” with Victoria Beckham. She always wears strange shoes and these ones (in the picture) are really rare. Of course, they are good for her because she is not running on her heels to ride the metro every day. Checking in at number two on the list is Rihanna with “I have watched Gladiator and I really loved it”. Rihanna is not characterized by her discreet look, and this time is not different: she wears a printed top (by Matthew Williamson) and Balenciaga sandals that are the most strange sandals in the world.
We continue with more music celebrities and now it is the Madonna turn. She is the next winner with “It is not an insinuation directed to my husband because I am getting divorced”. Madonna has demonstrated that she is a strong woman, and she chose those gun-heeled Chanel shoes when the rumors about her divorce from Guy Richie were published. Lindsay Lohan also wore a short version of the Gladiator sandals by Balenciaga. She wins the prize for “Today, I am not wearing my leggings, so please, don’t bother me.”
One of the main characters on Gossip Girl, Michelle Trachtenberg (who played Georgina on the first season), was able to walk with some Marc Jacobs backward heel shoes. She wins the prize for “I want to wear strange things and be famous just like Blake Lively and Leighton Meester”. Now, these shoes are available for the public, although they are really extravagant.
Gwyneth Paltrow also deserves a mention because she was able to walk with some really high heels (by Dsquared), and besides that, she has beautiful legs despite two pregnancies.
Lastly, we have Angie Harmon, who wears clothes designed by Prada, including some beautiful shoes. They are pretty but rare shoes.
Ok, 2008 is ending and, for sure, celebrities will wear more strange shoes next year, so we will be checking their feet.
