Through the years, the Italian brand Dolce & Gabbana has consolidated itself as one of the major design companies in the fashion world and not only for clothing. To increase its revenues and its worldwide fame, it has created a great variety of products that have taken it to have a privileged position in the well-known brands in the fashion world.
This company was created in 1981 by two influential Italian designers who were a gay couple until the year 2005, but this separation didn’t affect at all the production of the brand. These founders are: Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
These two important designers met each other by chance in a textile company and from this time they realized they had similar interests and passions for design, without mentioning that each one had developed their passion for fashion much before their encounter.
The first appearance of this brand in the fashion world was in the year 1985, when they created a collection to present it in Milan, on a catwalk. That year they were some of the new talents in the design industry.
