Black and golden corsets, pink dresses and other extravagant pieces of the Maddonna’s wardrobe will be exhibited next year in London.
300 items will remember the entire career of the “Queen of Pop”, the exhibition curator Ted Owen assured. The exhibition is called “Simply Madonna, Materials of the Girl”, and it will be carried out at the Old Truman Brewery, in the London east. Starting next February, the public will be able to see items like 30 dresses that Madonna wore in the film “Evita”, where she played the role of “Eva Peron”.
The private collection also includes a lot of photos and outfits that were worn at Madonna’s concerts or video clips like the black tasselled corset from the “Open Your Heart” video and the wedding dress from “Like A Virgin”.
The clothes of the American singer is part of a collection of the asset management company “Marquee Capital” and it will be auctioned after the exhibition.
