Nine West is betting on the retro fashion, from the 1970s-style shoes and accessories with a pimped touch to a retro cowboy style with Roman influences. There’s a style for everyone. This collection include boots with a cowboy style and engraving patterns, handbags and a sort of sandal-boots (you can see them in the following picture).
These sandal-boots, that have a functional mix of old and modern styles, will be available in several colors: natural leather color, brown and black. We are not sure if they will be a great choice for winter, but at least they will be good enough for autumn (fall). In the past, the open-toe boots were not well accepted by many people when they first came out, but later they became fashionable and good for our feet.
We will also see the return of mule shoes or clogs. But this time, they will be made of suede and will have wooden soles. There will be a lot of options because the collection include styles ranging from open shoes with a pleated structure to closed shoes with bands and additional details such as crosses straps and brooches or clips placed close to the heel. Again, these shoes will be available in natural colors with some blue touches.
In addition, cowboy boots are also present in order to complete the cowboy style. They will be available in earth colors with metallic details and medium to high heel. If you want to have an “Old West look” with a pure American spirit, then you should get some boots like these. They are perfect to use with the Mango Fall 2009 collection we showed in a previous post.
