This week is the Fashion Week in New York. So far, some fashion designers like Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenberg showed their collections for spring/summer 2009.
Also, on Sunday, designer Max Azria showed the Hervé Léger collection for spring/summer 2009. Except by the swimwear line, there were no surprises with this collection: bandage dresses that have been worn by celebrities this year and Max Azria revived the traditional dress with small leather jackets, belts and sequins.
Besides this, the collection includes coats, leather jackets, vests, skirts and evening dresses that probably will be used in Hollywood and red carpet galas.
At the end of the presentation, the collection turned into an unexpected swimwear line with many cutouts that will make difficult to avoid some comical (or interesting?) tan lines.
