The new Bottega Veneta Spring/Summer 2010 collection of masculine clothing has taken a turn for the better by using a more traditional and classic style and, at the same time, including daring designs and colors. Perfectly structured jackets have been combined in a nice way with comfortable pants that are tight in the waist and shorter than usual (uncovered ankles). Apparently, this is a trend that is going to be in fashion strongly in 2010.
According to this collection, worn-out jeans in dark colors will continue being an important trend. And they are perfectly combinable with any other garment. On the other hand, some sport pants are adapted to include new colors and modern designs.
This collection can be defined as a decorous collection where several earth colors (like beige, brown, and army green) are present predominantly on the items. Most of the jackets will be available in those colors. However, at the same time, there will be other garments in different colors, so you can dress nicely by combining your favorite items in a convenient way.
In this collection, some basic T-shirts appear under the jackets. And a sort of shiny neckerchiefs are molded on the collars. Also, shoes are combined with the rest of worn colors; for example: If a man wears pants in dark red, then it would be perfect if he uses shoes with a similar color. It is not a rule, but the shoes should not be treated as an isolated item.
In addition, pink is an important color that is used on eye-catching shirts. And there are several orange suits too. Definitely, this is not a boring collection.
Pin stripes appear in order to be used on jackets with sleeves colored in a different tone. And to complete this “visual party” in an elegant way, the collection includes some classic black tuxedo jackets that look really good with white shirts and ties in wine color.
The neutral color palette also is present in some of the designs.
