The 62nd edition of the Cannes film festival began with a great exhibition of celebrities on the French red carpet. The inaugural party began on Wednesday afternoon. There, the actresses wore the prettiest dresses designed by important fashion houses such as Armani and Elie Saab.
In general, this time the public was able to enjoy more glamour than in past years. This glamour was first seen when the jury panel arrived, which is chaired by Isabelle Huppert and includes the beautiful Robin Wright, Shu Qi and Asia Argento, among others.
Blonde actress Robin Wright looked great with a silver dress of the designer Elie Saab, which belongs to his Haute Couture 2007 collection. She wore this dress with no accessories except some pretty and simple earrings and her hair up.
Another celebrity who looked great was the Indian actress Aishwarya Rai. She attended the premiere of the first movie that is participating in the Festival:”Up”. The Bollywood star surprised many people with a beautiful, white, cascade ruffle dress featuring a strapless style designed by Roberto Cavalli (spring / summer 2009).
