New fashion campaign, new website. REPLAY has taken advantage of the season change to introduce its new website. Users of http://www.replay.it/ will be able to try all different items of the new spring summer 2009 collection on, thanks to an interactive tool named “face to face”. For each user it will be enough to upload two pictures, so that user can see how it may look by wearing the Replay collection for the coming spring summer 2009.
But, there are more new features. The website recreates the mood of the advertising campaign that was developed to promote the collection in Lanzarote Island (Spain). The homepage includes a video that, by using an unusual situation between reality and fiction, causes some surprise among web users, according to the company. Is it possible that the reality is different to what we see as normal? The hypothesis that the world where we live is only an illusion created by a software or an illusion produced by a superior mind, is really fascinating, according to the Italian clothing company.
The Replay website was developed by Upgrade Multimedia in conjunction with the Replay communication division. Apparently, this site is based on concepts like the enigmas proposed by the Matrix trilogy and the fictitious world created in the film “The Truman Show”: the website combines elements of the “real world” and components of virtual worlds.
This new website will also be present on FaceBook, but this social platform will be used not so much as an advertising medium, but rather as a way of being in touch with users and providing news and information about the Replay brand. Also, the company may use additional applications targeted for a specific purpose in order to take advantage of the emerging and popular social network.
