The French combat army chooses KERMEL for camouflage uniforms in FELIN programThe French Army has chosen the Kermel V50 and VMC40 fabrics to equip its soldiers within the framework of the FELIN program (Infantrymen with Integrated Liaison Equipment).

By combining extreme comfort, excellent durability and exceptional fire protection, these two fabrics are great options to improve the quality of camouflage uniforms. And this applies to both summer and winter uniforms. These uniforms have been tested by the French army successfully, and the first troops will be equipped at the end of 2008.

Kermel V50 is the ideal and durable solution for battle dress uniform. The softness of the Kermel fiber and the absorption capacity provide an extreme comfort. These properties, combined with an excellent thermal protection, make this uniform a garment that is perfectly adapted to summer and mid-season conditions.

Kermel VMC40 is the latest innovation in camouflage fabric. It is conceived to be used under humid conditions and cold weather. This material is extremely soft to the touch and very resistant. This new blend combines softness, humidity transfer, and fire resistance perfectly.
