On Monday, Apple launched updated MacBooks and, at the same time, dropped the prices of this famous line of laptop computers.
“We were already ahead of the competition; we are even further ahead now”, said Phil Schiller, (Apple senior Vice President) at the inauguration of the company’s annual developers conference
in San Francisco (United States).
However, many people in the audience felt disappointed with the announcement that Snow Leopard, the new operating system, won’t be available until September.
The new operating system will cost $129, but those users who are using the existing Leopard will pay $29 for an upgrade.
