Hewlett Packard (HP) brought to the attention of the public its new HP Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web, which is the first web-connected home printer designed for the digital generation.
This printer integrates the advantages of a Web environment and complement them with the TouchSmart technology to give users a quick, easy and touchscreen access to digital content, since the users will be able to open a webpage and print content on demand in an easy-to-read format by only touching the app of their choice.
Also, it is possible to connect the printer to a Snapfish account of the user to browse, print and load pictures.
Besides having applications included by default, this print system allows users to download new ones when they are available at the HP Apps Studio, an online resource where users can go to download applications that fit their interests and needs.
The printer and the HP Apps Studio will be released this fall.
