The new iPhone firmware upgrade is compatible with Google Street ViewIt is already possible to update your iPhone to the new firmware version 2.2 that fixes some problems reported in versions 2.0 and 2.1.

Among the most outstanding features are some improvements in the maps that are now quite  compatible with Google Maps and can show a street-level picture of an address including a 360-degree visual of the location, which is a feature of Google Street View. It is also possible to see the address of the dropped pins and you will be able to share your location by email easily.

Firmware 2.2 also introduces improvements in e-mail service that solve some detected bugs in the source code of the mail sender program and offer better wide-format HTML email.

Other updates: this new firmware avoid more configuration errors and dropped calls. Also, the stability and performance of Safari web browser has been improved, and sound quality for the Visual Voicemail has been increased. Lastly, it is important to highlight  the homescreen shortcut feature, which is active in any application. Now, when you press a simple “button”  from any main screen, you will be able to come back to homescreen.
