Boomj: Social Networking for Baby Boomers and Jonesers

Boomj: Social Networking for Baby Boomers and JonesersSometimes Social Networks seem dominated by the younger people, even children who spend hours and hours in front of a computer for chatting, reading / sending email, playing video games, or downloading MP3 or videos and buying items with the daddy’s Mastercard.

And although nowadays the new generations have some big opportunities that other people did not have in the past, Internet is for all and the older people have a place for them, too. Even, nowadays many successful projects on Internet are managed by the Baby Boomers (were born 1942 to 1953)  and Generation Jones (born 1954 to 1965). Boomj is a website for these generations.

We can say this: Boomj is like a Facebook or MySpace for them and also have some sections about shopping, videos, travels, blogs, events, financial information, advertisements, chats and more. Boomers include approximately 16% of the adult US population and Jonesers include approximately 26% of all US adults. So, the audience could be really wide soon. The site is relatively new.

If you remember clearly Howdy Doody, Davy Crocket hats, Woodstock, the Vietnam War or maybe The Brady Bunch, Easy Bake Ovens and the 70s,  then BOOMj.com is for you.
