Imeem: What’s on your playlist?
Imeem is another Internet social network that is becoming very popular lately. It is an online community where musicians / artists, directors, photographers, and groups can promote, recommend or discover art, blogs, photos, music, films / videos and pop culture media. Similar to other networks on Internet, you can become social by building a friends (or fans) list in order to stay connected with them by informing updates or receiving updates from them. There are three basic things you can do on Imeem:
* Discover: You can browse thousands of musical videos, photos, group or personal blogs and profiles posted on Imeem. As usual, you stay up-to-date with news from your fans and friends network.
* Interact: You can comment, rate and share content on your network in order to promote it or simply because you want to notify something. Also, you can create groups about a specific topic (for example: musical bands or a special event). Or just participate in discussions about any topic with other users.
* Share: Imeem allows you to promote your content by sharing it with your friends. So, if you are a musician, a film maker, a photographer or a painter, then Imeem is a great opportunity to publicize your work and ask for opinions. Or maybe you only want to recommend stuffs from other sources to your friends.

I’m a huge fan of imeem.com I can find any music I want on there and it’s helped me figure out what music to buy, the only downside is that I have a ‘must buy’ list that is growing faster than my income can offset it.
